A gift to the Guillory family
A gift here goes to the Guillory family personally, as thanks for the work. It is not a donation to Scrollwork.
A gift does not pay what Scrollwork costs to run; donations do. If you want to keep Scrollwork running for everyone, please donate instead. What it costs, and what donations are for, is set out on What it costs.
A gift is not tax-deductible, and it unlocks nothing. Scrollwork treats every reader the same, whether they give or not. The family receives a gift as income, and I pay the tax on it.

Through PayPal, any amount. Please add the word Gift in PayPal's note, so it is not taken for a donation.
How gifts and donations are told apart
Gifts and donations arrive through the same PayPal and GitHub Sponsors accounts, so they are told apart by their label. On GitHub Sponsors the label is the tier: A gift to the Guillory family for a gift, Donate to Scrollwork for a donation. On PayPal it is the note: Gift. I keep the books by that label, so the costs page counts donations alone.
